East Park would be the ideal place for it IMO, back down the road of the club's greatest days!
East park is where I like to take my kids now and again, if the Council even considered changing it's usage I would ring up and threaten to dry bum each and every one of them until they scrapped the idea.
I cannot believe the amount of pages on this topic.
Rovers had a chance to play in Hull's community stadium, and probably still could but they said no. Apart from Whitefriargate where the heck would you like it built to make it perfectly central?
People need to face facts, the City of Hull is trying to keep up with bigger City's and their sporting success. One smashing stadium is there and it is as central as it possibly could be without putting it where the big screen used to be.
If HKR were to move into the KC their 25,000 fans would still go to the games and they would soon be happy there. Unfortunately the board seem to be against that and the fans that are asking for a stadium are like one of them horrible little snotty nosed kids you see who is begging their mum for their own bat and ball even though they ahve been offered numerous chances to play with the family set being used by their brother and sister.
Thanks for your time, I am off back to Walters for more Peroni and to plan a campaign for a new Super Stadium in Hedon for Skirlaugh ARLFC and Hedon Rangers

You having a bad day or something?!
Don't see the harm in the campaign personally, it'll either work or it won't. You could still go to the park if the stadium's built there, there's still loads of space free despite all the redevelopments the last couple years.
"The Mail understands..." NOTHING!

Unless they build a subbutteo stadium I cannot see how they can put one in East Park without disturbing things.
And, like I said, Hull has a Stadium, we dont need more.
There are enough children who need treatment, houses that need improving, smackheads that need shooting and schools that can benefit from more money for the Council to spend our cash on. Rovers fans need to stop thinking the World is against them. The stadium could not be built in East Hull as there was no space. It was built within a short walk of the Train and Bus station and easy access to the motorway. It kinda speaks for itself that West Park was the only logical place.
I am having an amazing day. I went to have a lunchtime pint only to come back and find some young gimps playing about with my shutters. I got rid of them and then found out I have left my phone in the pub. Apart from that ace

don't blame rovers for not wanting to share the kc.they want their own identity,in their own area.tbf, can you see liverpool and everton sharing a stadium,or the 2 manc clubs??,arsenal/spurs?-no.also,hull is the only place with 2 top flight rugby league clubs, and they need to be playing in their own grounds.

Then let Rovers pay for it.
Do you think Liverpool council will build two stadiums?
If they want their own stadium then fine but dont expect me and other tax payers to pay for it
