Loving this draft now Spikes & Gronc great picks, McCourty was compared to Revis by his Rutgers coach too. Cunningham is a solid pick who has great burst so there's a pass rusher

Although i expect us to go O-Line again soon to protect Rodgers.
Pretty much guaranteed that the Rams will trade down, Devany has said unlikely they remain there and apparently 12 teams have contacted them.
I think round 2 starts at 11pm our time.
Correct as usual. I like your pick of Buluga, great for you that he dropped that far. Ive read that your 2nd rounder isnt that great and probably a bit of a reach. If Favre doesn't come back I think you make the Superbowl in the NFC.
P.S Didn't somebody tell you Clausen wouldnt go first round and not top ten as you predicted?
As far as our draft goes its kind of a mixed bag so far. I think we have a huuuuuge need for a MLB but have gone DE, DT, S so far. I like Pierre-Paul, the doubters have obviously overlooked our past regarding development of defensive ends.
Very pleased with the Bengals draft so far, Dunlap in the second could be an absolute steal for us with the way Mike Zimmer gets the best out of defensive players.
Jordan Shipley will fit in the slot nicely with Bryant and Chad lining up and Gresham in at TE might actually mean our passing game will be back to normal this season.
Hopefully we can nab a safety in the upcoming rounds, i wouldn't mind Myron Rolle or that Answah guy both are good ball players.

Bulaga means Rodgers will be upright for years to come. The second day was pretty poor really for us. Neal i don't rate anyway, but certainly not that high. Likewise Burnett (Safety) i don't really rate and it seems we gave up our 4th to get him. I would have preferred to go Bruce Campbell/Charles Brown both who were still available (and Campbell still is) in round 2 and then anybody else in round 3. I like Myron Rolle who we could have got in 4. So i'm pretty disappointed with those two picks. I really think we go RB but not sure if Dwyer/Blount will be available when we pick. I think we settled for average players when we could have gone another way.
Yep, people were right Clausen would fall. I still think based on college play he is better than Bradford. Is more pro ready than Bradford and ultimately will be better than Bradford.
JPP has the potential, and he's in a good situation, but he is like Gholston, a physical specimine but his play isn't all that good. He benefitied from having Selvie across from him, only started 1 year IIRC and wasn't that great. Not sure he'll bust with him going to you but he was arguably the most overrated prospect.
I get the feeling that we're going to be even worse next season. We've not addressed our major needs in the 2nd/3rd round at all. I do kind of like the Saffold pick as that should see us sorted at both tackles, although there's talk of possibly moving him inside to guard. With Bell and Brown in the line as well, if we can stay healthy we should have a good set of offensive linemen next season.
However, we have no one to throw to. Laurent Robinson could emerge as a number one receiver if he can stay healthy and Avery likewise needs to stay healthy. I really like guys like Amendola and Brandon Gibson but they're still very raw and not anywhere near consistent enough.
I wonder if we'll try and make a trade for Osi Umenyiora. Other than Chris Long, I have little confidence in the defensive line. Little might not be back and he's getting on a bit even if he does come back.
There are still some excellent players available. In order, I'd love to see the Chargers to take....
Cam Thomas NT Everson Griffen DE Bruce Campbell OT Akwasi Owusu-Ansah CB Dominique Franks CB
There is also Blount and McKnight who I thought would be long gone by now.
Although having the 1st pick, the Rams have been uninspiring, especially when you see what the Seahawks & 49ers have done. They've been the most impressive for my money. Especially the 49ers.
