I seem to remember there was a team that travelled by Bus, ferry & train a day after a major final and beat 5 french teams in a little over ten days , wonder who they were?

Now our club can't beat one and uses this as an excuse.. someone named Todd must be spinning in his grave.

I was at the match as a Catalans supporter and we really appreciated the effort the club made to get down here. Virtually all of the stand that I was in stayed to applaud the Salford players after our team had gone into the dressing room. I don't know if the Salford players heard us chanting "Salford, Salford" as they were doing their warmdown in trhe middle of the pitch!

All this c@=p about being french v english isn't fair - they were outplayed by a better drilled team on the day - even one of the Reds players told me after the game that Catalans wanted to win more than Salford ....say no more

Just got back after travelling to Perpignan to watch the lads play, so, as you have posted, you were definitly not the ONLY fans, myself along with my other half + another couple did the journey & there was also 2 others who were on holiday in Spain travelled over for the game.

yeh, probably but Catalans really wanted to WIN more - Salford did ok in the circumstances and didn't let anyone down (except the coach who was fuming) and even a Salford team playing in 'normal' circumstances would have struggled against a very determined Catalans team - by the way,i'm not a Catalans fan, just a RL fan
