Brilliant performance today, the best possible amswer to last week's effort. Menzie and Richie were awesome and the rest of the lads did us proud. I've still got my shirt on as I'm so proud pf them, and I'll be wearing it at Halifax tomorrow for the Siddal v Batley game. I wasn't going to, but after today, the team have made me proud to wear it. OK, Wigan may have eased off, but you play what's in front of you. I just hope we carry it on to the Leigh game now. We should have won there last season, and if we play like we did today, we will win. Let's think positive.

Your team stood up and were counted today and you can be rightly proud of them. There was a lot of effort and some very good moves from Sheffield today. The combination of Yere and Barnett always looked threatening. Barnett's first try when you unlocked our sliding defence with some well timed deft passing was the best try of the game IMO. If you can perform as you did today for the rest of the year I can't see you being outside the playoffs.

I think this time last year we were in a similar position, 7 games 1 win but lot of bonus points. This year we are 7, 1 win 1 bonus point, with alot of game we could of won. I Today was very very happy with our game. I come in to this game with an open mind. I am never one to ride the Eagles off, but after recient games, its hard. Today, i would have been happy for the boys to come out and show some muscle, some heart, and some pride in the Ealges jersey. Yet today it makes me proud to be an Eagles Supporter. Bring on the season of 2010, If we can get Wigan ( top of the super league) to 36 - 50, then we ave the season at our own hands. It just may be the season of the Eagle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great performance, parallels to last season are extra-ordinary, we started crap and were galvanised by the Hull KR cup tie, hopefully this season will be the same. Whatever we fed Richie Barnett before the game, we need to keep feeding him, providing it's safe and legal... and the attendance must have been more than 2800 or whatever was announced.
