why is OK for Salford and Leigh to be ordered by the rugby league to go to France to play a English Cup game, yet for French teams it is OK to call off a game to come to England.

does the rugby league have double standards?
or is just against us english?

there must be a law against this?

why would you think there would be a law against this?
Do you think the league is run by competent forward thinking visionaries who consider all possibilities, :SUBMISSION: :SUBMISSION: :BEAT: :BEAT: :BEAT: :BEAT: :BEAT:

Dont forget they didnt have a rule dealing with a club who fielded an illegible player in the challenge cup :SHHH: :SHHH: :SHHH: :DANCE: :DANCE: :DOH: :DOH:

I don't think having untidy handwriting on the teamsheet breaches any regulations... :CURTAIN:

Wasn't Lezignan's flight only cancelled at such a time where they couldn't make any other arrangements to get over in time for the match? I know that doesn't fit in with the RFL double standards, it's all against us poor English type posts that are made without thinking, but y'know. Just something to ponder.

It would make interesting reading to know what penalties Salford would have incurred for not making it to France for the fixture.I caught a little of a radio interview with Steve Simms which he mentioned the the advice from RFL recieved by the club was, the game must be played on Sunday.

Sad preacher nailed upon the coloured door of time;
Insane teacher be there reminded of the rhyme.
There'll be no mutant enemy we shall certify;
Political ends, as sad remains, will die.
