All this bickering about nothing just about puts me off both sets of fans. As a reader of the East riding mail (as it is outside Hull) I wish they would use thier position to lobby both Hull & ER councils to do something about the cost of pitches & sports facilitys for kids & amature sports people in all sports. The constant printing of letters from Rovers, FC, & Tigers brain dead morrons complaining & trying to score cheap points off each other does the paper nor our sport any favours. Especially when locall sides are fighting for thier very existance in thease hard times. If we loose them where are we to get our future stars from?

Good points actually that is where the common ground is in this City in the amateur game especially with kids, it is when both sets of fans unite. Youth teams always need sponsors and aid it would be more beneficial for rag to focus on this area.

We coach youths who supporter both the team, we put the little dobbins as subs though

Only kidding we coach kids who have gained academy for both clubs

It isn't just about the kids that go on to make a career of it, either. They are all doing something fun, healthy and generally wholesome - which should encouraged.

They learn lots...teamwork, discipline, rules, respect, personal confidence..Team sports are a fantastic arena to teach young people in an environment which they can have fun and enjoy themselves.
