Well there will be if they decide to call in to the Rugby League Heritage Centre. It is situated in the basement of the famous George Hotel which is about one hundred yards from the main railway station in Huddersfield.
There you will find a large collection of items of rugby league history: century old digitised photographs, programmes, newspaper cuttings, trophys, boots, jerseys and more. There are also four plasma screen TVs showing game from the distant past and more recent and Sam the manager will be there to talk and talk and talk and answer any questions.
There is a good selection of recently published books and magazines to buy, all situated on the shelves on the left hand side as you enter the room where the game was born.
Entrance is now free to a place that every rugby league fan should visit at least once in his or her lifetime.
I have paid several visits to the Heritage Centre and it is well worth it if people have time on sunday. The last time i was in there Bev Risman was having a browse round and had his photo taken with a life-sized photo of his dad that they have in there.
