I'm not called Steve and money is not the issue ( that's just an excuse)......otherwise who the hell would play for clubs like the Dons and Gateshead..and Skolars ...and some other clubs.
But they do and some of them are half decent players.....so simple logic says there must be others.
And further simple logic says...you just have to find them.
Of course that is not easy....but they are there alright.
Maybe a bit young and raw or old and running on empty.... but they are there.
Money is only an issue in that we can't afford the ready-made article. We need to develop them instead.
That said you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear....it's all about recognising talent and potential...and not sticking with dumplings.
