The guy deserves more than 7 games to secure another contract so that might be an option.

He hasn't had a lot of luck on the injury front but he has played with injuries for us on a number of occasions, time for the club to show some faith in Chev maybe.

Yeah I agree, he was injured putting himself on the line for Rovers so I wouldn't have a problem with him signing on for another year.

Chev can do a job at centre, and with Jake Webster looking as if hes moving on at the end of this year he could maybe slot in for him, failing that he can also do a job in the second row. You say he hasn't done enough but he was part of the team that took us to our highest ever SL finish and before an horific injury was a regular in the first team.

No disrespect to the guy, but he has probably been our worst value for money signing since we've been in super league. I'd sooner just have rovers use the money saved on his large wage to buy someone who is an actual second row, rather then just somebody who "can do a job there"

And I would also disagree he could do a job for us at centre, I don't think he looked comfortable there and never played that well there hence why Welham was able to take his spot from him, and why Chev wasn't able to win it back.
