No he's done exactly right.

He's put the referees under pressure to treat him right.

He admits that Lauaki has disapline problems and has to work on them to become a asset, but on the 'tackles' and hkr tactics he got it right.

Newton all but confirms this.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Really?

I'd forgotten about that, I could have done with a load of Wire fans whining on about it for the last three years to remind me.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. He probably has. Professional sport isn't some sort of gentlemans duel, regulated by honour and a second with a rather spiffing quiff. Anything to get an advantage, if Agar's managed to put a seed of doubt into Cummings and therefore the rest of them's minds about Lauiki, then well done.

As an aside, I really did think Extreme Lauiki Baiting was a brilliant new pantomime sport on Good Friday, fantastically aided by both sets of fans. For next year, maybe we could have some sort of Hull version of Pamplona's Running of the Bulls. We could keep Lauiki in a darkened dungeon in that old gateway (Beverley Gate?) at the top of Whitefriargate from Palm Sunday, feeding him only on raw meat and 20/20, then release him to the strains of Red Red Robin at which point he could chase and try to "gore" Rovers fans in their shirts right the way down into the Old Town.

I disagree with that, the refs won't use his comments as a reason to treat him differently. If anything they will look more closely at his actions in giving penalties away. They way you are looking at it Agar has criticised the refs for not looking after the player and criticising the refs doesn’t mean that they will change their opinion.

Perhaps Rich feels a little under pressure... for what its worth both Rovers and FC might be on the back-end of two defeats in the next two games!

 Why? surely you should be expecting to win every game you play?
