Well that rubbish today was thoroughly depressing, and when I say rubbish, I mean RUBBISH. After a few half decent performances in the Northern Rails we've gone well off the boil in the league, some decent spells in the first two games but after that utterly useless. I was sat there at half time today thinking, not only have I got to watch another 40 mins of this, I've got a 2 and a half/3 hour journey home after it. Every Eagles fan who made the trip today, of which there were not many, should be applauded, because they do not deserve the performance they were given. Take nothing away from Barrow, they were tremendous, Jamie Rooney ran the show and Ned Catic showed he has still got it from his super league days.

I don't know where we go from here, we need a HUGE reaction next week, we're expecting a big crowd for our first game at the Lane, are newcomers going to want to come back if we perform like that? No.
