Is Murrell at 9 the issue there? A natural hooker may well have ran at him. Cunningham for example would have gone down the short side. I still dont get Morgan playing a decent 13 at 9 where you lose his value.

If you watch Wigan and Saints at the PTB, the acting half is looking around before he gets there. We dont do that enough be it Murrell or others. Its as if 'we are here so we play this ball!'

Do you think Fisher would have spotted the opportunity? Playing 9 is one of those postions that involves loads of little things that lesser experienced players would miss.
