Thought we played pretty good today, defence was good, forwards never took a step back although big phil is getting worse. Tyer, matty smith were poor. Mal and boyle were outstanding. Scoreline didn't reflect the match, we were in it for an hour. All this talk of sacking shaun is ridiculous, hes doing a good job with an average set of players imho. I believe that the club are saving money this year and are really gonna have a push next year, with new stadium being built i think it makes more sense to go all out next year. there were some good positives from today although our execution was a bit lacking.

Defensively we looked good. Our decision making at times let his down. Tyrer kicking when the tackle count had been restarted led to a length of the field try and we never recovered.

We kicked an early penalty but then they had a lot of the territory. It took us about 15 mins to gain possession in their half and we again decided to take a penalty kick which we missed. A minute later we was awarded another penalty in front of their sticks but ran the ball, strange tactics. We should have run the ball on all 3 occassions as we struggled to get a lot of possession in their 20 metres zone.

Think the reason to go for two was to give the guys a rest and to ge the ball back ,made sense i thought as we had done a lot of defending already
