Perhaps a bit of both perhaps. He is the sole creative player now which makes him easier to close down however I expected him to do a bit better than he did. His attacking kicks close to our line were poor IMO.

Isn't any player suffering concussion automatically given a weeks enforced rest and needs to pass a medical test before being allowed to return ?................

That 19 will change on the morning of the game due to injury. Wouldnt expect Lauaki to play. Burnett, Washy, Moa and Turner will all come in to play.

I thought that far too often dobson ended up at the acting half leaving no one directing play/creating. especially during the 2nd half when you had back to back sets. There was even occasions when i'anson played the ball to dobson.

That's because we're more mature than your average Rovers fan, get a life and grow up.

Shame there aren't more posters like Mild Rover on here who can post a decent argument rather than just posting childish comments.

I haven't actually gloated once, I cannot muster the energy. I actually feel more relieved than anything else!

As regards Dobson, all he needed to do was put a few high kicks up and we would have capitulated. I still cannot believe that this never happened. I think it was every Hull fan's main fear.

Neither can I, massively overlooked by our coaching staff and players. One, possibly 2 high kicks all day long, just not good enough when you consider the FC backs are poor at defending them.

Not just the high kicks but you never exploited our weakness out wide, it has shown when a team spreads the ball out we struggle big time. Wigan are the only team to have really exploited that so far.
If teams try take us on down the middle the majority of the time we will come out the winners.

The Fox disallowed try highlighted that perfectly. Hull had the numbers on the short side yet Fox was still able to get outside Briscoe.

In Briscoes defence he was carrying an injury at this stage, whether that hampered him at the time we dont know.
