I thought the score line flattered Warrington, good first half littered with mistakes from both teams, although I thought we were the more likely to score! Cannot blame the coach today when clearly individuals took the wrong options in front of the Warrington try line.
Last 15 minutes undone a lot of hardwork, not saying we would have won but take some positives away from the game, Holdsworth was again the stand out player for me.
Finally can we rid ourselves of the goons who call themseves supporters, you know who you are! you are an embarrassment to the Salford club, great support spoilt by a few yobs, we don't need you!
We were absolutely clueless in attack. It was like watching the game in slow motion at times. With the field position we had in the game it was pathetic that we somehow managed not to score a single try.

Alright the score in no way reflects the match, as for the coach, why are we not running at angles, one player made a number of bad decisions, our defence was very goood (well done coach) but attacking was very poor. Now I will make a point about Sky once again we are not on and 3/4 vital decisions are left to real time and the Ref and his team. First Warringtons first try forward pass according to Salford coach (can't go to the screen) but maybe the French one would have been more aware or his team if on telly. Next Tyrer's "try" (pass inside we are in front) the bloke who drinks water all match behind the sticks awards it the touch judge says no, restart confused everyone, but with no telly to confirm the whistle blower can not give "benefit of the doubt and awards a 20 metre restart surely in touch its a scrum. Next Solomona's try yes we dropped it but so did he before he touched down, but the only person to miss this were the water driker and the truffle eater, so no telly award a try. Then we get the great "crossing" obstruction try just later on again no telly so it is missed and it wass more blatant then Seniors for Leeds on Thursday with no try given,. The outcome with out the telly a very one sided score line of 32 - 2 with telly and i am only making a red tinted judgement poss score line of 22 - 18. No doubt people will come on here and mock this but these were vital moments in the match, would Tyrer have tried to kick through if he already had one try under his belt just on Half time again another turning point.

Parry Gordon's passes,Les Boyd's strong runs,Mike Gregory's workrate,Des Drummond's tries,Jonathan Davies' sheer genius...........oh,and Alan Rathbone's punches! All memories of the legendary venue which was Wilderspool stadium. Gone maybe, but never, ever forgotten.
