I dont get the retentions bit and like i said earlier in the thread i think, theres probably only Fitz who could be classed as that with Manu second.
Can just imagine Rule in negotiations with these saying, well Agar might go but we are talking to an unkown ozzie coach called Bennett or something like that, not really heard of him

Fitz and Manu are the 2 I was thinking of but I reckon Manu would sign regardless and as much as I like Fitz having a top class coach next season would have more impact than keeping Fitz for another year if he chose to leave on the back of it. If we don't have a couple of exciting signings in the pipeline I can see a drop in enthusiasm levels of the fans. I really don't get the timing of the this either, if 8 games isn't enough to say we still have some of the problems of the last 2 seasons then how is it long enough to offer somone a 2 year contract?

Regarding fans' enthusiasm I would have thought the performance over the next 19 rounds would be the biggest determinant of that. I expect one or two quality players to come in for next season though.
