Why a 2 year deal, why not 1 year?
Good job the club has soem money as they might need it soon, to pay Agar off!!!!
Thats me done about the subject, as what I put on here isnt going to change things, I will have to get behind him (For the moment), hopfully he will prove us all wrong, strating with this weekend.
Crazy decision. Hull board.

Seems to me that you need the implied stability for the whole team. However, we all know how secure the contract of a coach is and I'm sure there are performance related clausees in there that he will have to deliver to.
I do think that the dissatisfaction so regularly aired on here is definitley one of the barometers for the club of the fans' feeleings and perhaps the board thought it was all a bit unsettling for the players and thought they'd put-paid to any negative rumours.
It would be a twisted irony if the negativity on here is one of the things that spurred them on to sign sooner rather than later.

Why are we making a decision of his future now, what has he done to warrant a 2 year deal? It's his team now so at least wait for the midway point of the season and even then maybe a 1 year deal.
Seems like the club want the best of everything, A Grade, massive support, making profits, top notch signings but yet are happy to persist with an unproven coach.
Seems we have zero ambition!!
I am hugely disappointed with the club and whilst I like Agar and think he is a decent coach I have major concerns about his ability to take us to the very top and develop the players we have. He will have my support but the decision by the club IMO is a shocking one!

Just as a matter of interest, are there any conditions under which you believe that it's acceptable to criticise the club? For instance, did you happily cheer Lloyd and Walsh?
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One

Firstly - someone send me a PM i'm feeling left out.
Secondly - WTF? I was sure this must be a joke but apparently not. The ONLY reason I can imagine this was done was in order to secure a couple of high profile retentions and possibly recruitment.

Well have to say I am really disappointed by the this news as Agar for me has still yet to prove he is capable of being the head coach at Hull FC. This decision has been made far too early and if I'm honest shouldn't have been made til at least the 2nd half of the season. Yet again we are left with Agar (who maybe a nice guy and all that) who so far in his tenure as head coach has been sadly lacking. The fact that the bad habits of the last 2 seasons have now started to appear in HIS team are a concern but obviously not to the board who just expect the Hull fans to pay no matter what.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

What defines a decent coach though Paul? As with regards to our current one, I'm not sure with what I've seen of him in the 3 seasons he's been in charge if his so called coaching ability is as good as that.
