It looks like they wrote the article today, and set it up for it to appear on the web site tommorrow when the date changes to April 1st but by mistake(which isn't suprising) dated it a month earlier. Hence why it just appeared in the news archives.

I guess at the end of the day, if Agar fails miserably this season, contracts can be broken and severance deals negotiated.
Another poor season and fans will surely walk - the board won't tolerate that loss of income. They must still be quietly confident that things are on track, morale is high in the dressing room and Agar will do well.
Looking on the bright side - this vote of confidence from them could be a positive thing and the 3 losses merely seen as isolated poor displays, not a prelude to a repetition of our previous crash and die seasons. I sincerely hope...

That's how I see it. If we already have signings in the pipeline continuity at this stage might be an advantage. It wouldn't guarantee him 2 years if true.

Look, we need stability to build any sort of team. A coach can have his own team, but you can't go for short term successes if you want to build medium-long term success. We can't go through spells of giving a coach just two years and then sacking him for the next man. If we had beat Salford, there'd be none of this over-reactionary nonsense.
