Do any of the United fans on here feel the club let Pique go too early?
I saw him when he played in England and he never impressed me, I remember Nemeth making him look daft in a reserves game a couple of years back. However, he's done very well since going back to Barca, his passing is very good and it's hard to fault him, I always thought he was a bit soft but I remember him handling Heskey relatively well in the friendly for Spain. I think he's much better than Evans but I'm unsure if he's better than Rio and Vidic, especially when they play together.

He hasn't been great to be fair to the Arsenal fans. The most amazing thing about this game is that if Arsenal get a goal then they actually head in to the 2nd leg with a small chance. They should really be out of it

I think Fergie had to make a decision and he stuck with the tried and tested Vidic/Rio partnership. I think Pique is helped out by playing the style of football he has been brought up around. He's a spaniard playing in La Liga. Top player but probably the weakest out of himself, Rio and Vidic.

Pique wanted regular football, and he isn't good enough to replace Rio or Vida. Although we could've done with him this season. He's better than Evans and Brown, and he's decent in the opposition box, he scored a few for us in Europe. He'd have been an ideal replacement for Rio if he'd stayed, but you can't blame him for wanting regular first team football.
