I probably agree with you, but in attack he really thinks and seemed to take all the right options - the chip kick in the first half then the knock back in the second - excellent - great entertainment

Really enjoyed last nights game. Really made-up with the result.
Special mentions have to go to Boyle, Fitzy, Talau, Holdsworth, Henry, Sidlow and Broughton. Holdsworth looks a top player. TBH he looks too 'clever' for most of our players. When they start to read him better, we will improve as an attacking force.

Well what a good performance, 2nd half inparticular was very good, we completed our sets in a positive way, built pressure on hull and were able to play some good rugby at times.
All the players should take big raps for the effort, commitment and intelligence at times not to go for the "big play" too early in the set, "The Wizard" dictating play was immence for me but he had willing runners in the pack and round the edges all night which is a nice change
So for me i though it was a superleague performance by a superleague team in the end, probably a firm handshake kind of "well done" rather than a and about it .
I hope the players can build on this performace over the easter period and not think "well we won, the fans love us again, lets kick back and take the plaudits" because in superleague the performace on saturday is whats needed to keep making progress

Not what you were saying for a whole 10 minutes in the 1st half after Cashmere/Sidlow went for the glory offload and cocked it up. You and Chris gave me a blinding headache the way in which you were carrying on. Ha

I stand by my comments @ the time, you have to earn the right to play, to often @ salford we throw the hollywood ball to early in the tackle count and are punished, this is what happened as hull then marched up to our end and scored minutes later, take the tackle, quick play of the ball with a broken line and hulls defence all at sea we could have done some serious damage just before half time, its a learning curve for the likes of sidlow im sure he would deal with the situation differently when it happens again .
It was a fab break by sidlow and he and jewitt are begining to grow into a force to be reconded with on the field. They arnt the finished article but if they show the same control aggression in the tackle both in attack and defence and they continue to recylcle quality ball for the remainder of the season then they will go a long long way

And my headache's back again!
Bobby, I, to a certain extent, agree with you. It's Chris you were mass-debating with...
Imo, and this is all I'm going to say on the issue is, that in order to be a great attacking team at the top level, you have to make the right play at the right time. Work and develop the opportunities and take them when they pop up. Had Sidlow made that pass to Henry, and Henry went onto score, you, as well as everybody else would've said it was the right play. However, he ballsed it up and it turned into a silly play. So, do you stop trying? Not necessarily. All Sidlow can do in future is make sure his skill level is upto the required standard in the event of an opportunity coming up again. Well, that's how the best players in the best teams do it matey.
