Well done Shaun Mcrae, if you have to take the abuse for a defeat ie Catalan,by some so called supporters in the shed, then by the same rule you must take the credit for the performance against Hull. I for one think you are doing a very good job, especially with one hand tied behind your back. The performance against Hull was just like going back into the past, going forward but using the full width of the pitch, with players playing for their own pride and the supporters,we cannot ask for more. Those having ago, if they have to have ago at any body,it should be at the directors the buck stops with them. I will only judge Shaun when we see what happens when Mr Wilkinson provides the same tools as all the other Super League coaches have.

Well he can only do that if people come through the turnstyles, and upon till yesterday, the sort of Rugby being played by Salford was not doing this, so if the product improves then the crowds will improve and so will the budget, unless you think that JW should bankroll the club to the full salary cap each season and let us in for nowt.

I am not saying, Mr Wilkinson should bankroll anything, but I do not think he can expect people to turn up when the rugby has been poor. Its what comes first crowds or a team? Brian Snape said it was the team and I think this was correct.
If The food was no good at Chesters, Mr Wilkinson wouldn't expect us to eat there, would he?
Shaun McRae is working with one hand tied behind his back.
So exactly what are you suggesting Lance? You know of an Arabian Investor willing to buy the club for £5 million and then plough a further £5 million into playing resources. I am sure John would be more than delighted to hear from you and your Arabian friend. Please contact him via the club.

Neutrals watching the game on Saturday just might be tempted to come to the Willows. That was the most expansive I have seen Salford play for about a year. Maybe around Easter McRae says fook this percentage boring rugby and lets go for it. The reason I say this is that if you remember we had that little run around this time last year. We went to Wigan in the cup took a great following got beat and then the old boring rugby came back.
If we carry on entertaining and more importantly winning then the crowds will come, sorry but that is the way nowadays.
