but lordy lord I've seen one of the most pathetic acts of violence by one of your less desirables.
Walking towards the Tavern after the game through a group of Hull fans awaiting their turn to get on their bus. Ignito, the Salford power ranger is walking towards the same group from the opposite direction. A Hull fan (well, a man wearing a Hull shirt if that's anything to go by) hands his placcy bag to his mate and sets off in pursuit of Ignito who has now passed by me. I turned around to see what this fella was going to do at which point lamps Ignito's giant foam head with a right hook. Immediately after another Hull fan from the aforementioned group gives Ignito a shove. At this point I immediately ran to the aid of our man along with about 4 or 5 regular shedites in order that he didn't kicked in. Just before Ignito got inside his room at the Weaste Lane end of the Willows another Hull fan appears and tries to take Ignito on... Funny little fella. Full of aggression and was slurring a largely inaudible pile of turd.
Like I say, not getting at your decent fans of which I'm sure are in the majority but if the steretoypes of Hull fans are ever going to be left in the past then these knobrots have got to be dealt with.
i can only aplogise for our " fans", buch of c*nts in my opinion......anywasy, afew beers and an away game makes me embarrased to be a fc fan at times.......

Sorry, but that is one of the funniest posts I have seen on here

If it hasn't worked by now, it never will! I'm all for reaching out to a wider audience with our game but not at the expense of historical clubs in the homelands.

Why's your mascot a power ranger?

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

And I reckon the vast majority of the people on here who've read your reply believe you to be a little bit childish. I'm sure you can't help it.

It's not really. Just resembles one.

No worries matey. Won't be tarring all with the same brush.

Its a disgrace, i mean ignito is a club official and to be attacked by opposition fans is a disgrace, im just glad red preacher and a few other reds were there to back them off.
I and a lot of other reds will be looking for an official appology from hull fc and their fans liason officer after this incident both on here, the official site and the league express tomorrow.
Can you image if salford fans attacked another club official, the club would be hung and the fan would probably be banned for this life and next.
Most importantly is ignito ok? Will he be fit for monday?

Back up a little there Bobby. There were no heroics as such from myself and others. Just gathered around our man until he made it indoors.
Come to think of it, the status of Ignito is kind of irrelevant. If anyone, whether a club official, supporter (from either side) or passer-by in the street gets whacked and is severely outnumbered, it's a responsiblity of each of us to do what we can imo.

Not that I condone it, but it would have been funny if he went all Bruce lee on the Hull fans power-ranger stylee.
Imagine the look on the kiddies faces when the power ranger sorts the louts out!

"Funny", it would've been hilarious. Especially if he 'morphed'. Come to think of it, we could be onto something here. This could be a new way of boosting attendances. We could get an actual Power Ranger down at the Willows... Hmm.
