I've got a feeling Coppell's another of these "Southern clubs only" managers.
I also don't really see what he's done that's worthy of him walking into a Premier League job. I do think he is a better manager than Laws or Dowie, but that's not a ringing endorsement.
I think Hull were wrong to fire Brown. And I don't think any manager Hull can appoint will be able to do anything more than Brown did.

In front for the time being though, 1-0 Bullard Pen.

Superb from Wenger. He or Rafa would be the last people I'd expect to swear, especially in an interview to Sky. I wasn't gonna watch MOTD but I'll watch it now, just to see this tackle and hopefully he gave the same interview to the beeb.

Doubt he's gunna call out the F word twice but he might do. Wenger can't complain about these questions. He sets himself up for these with his over reactions to injuries to his players. Taylor should be banned for life etc. Bad injuries happen it's just been unfortunate that Arsenal have had 2 in the last couple of years. Arsenal make their fair share of bad challenges like all teams.

Sullivan's a ****head. Fat, hypocritical, loudmouth piece of ****. And he's acted like that since taking over at West Ham.
But Zola doesn't have the right to walk from West Ham because of Sullivan's retarded comments. He owes his players and the WH fans his full service to make sure they are still in the Premier League at the end of the season. If he doesn't think he can keep them up then he should walk, but he shouldn't be walking and using the excuse of what Sullivan's done as an excuse.

I hope he stays but could you stay and work for a manager who constantly undermines you to your staff? If Sullivan has such a problem with the club he shouldn't of invested in it. Same as if he doesn't back Zola he should of relieved him of his position after the takeover. Feel sorry for Gold in this. He's acted a lot more professional and hasn't been embarrassing Zola like Sullivan has

In the long term you wouldn't want to work for Sullivan. TBH you wouldn't want to be in the same city as that dodgy git. But it's not about the long term, it's about the present situation that West Ham are in. No matter what Sullivan has done, one of the biggest reasons that West Ham are in the state they are at the moment is the poor managerial performance of Zola. So IMO he owes it to West Ham to to put up with whatever nonsense is thrown at him in the short term.
If he keeps them in the Premier League, then he can tell Sullivan where to stick his job. But he shouldn't walk until West Ham are safe. And if he takes them down he'll be out of a job anyway.
