He most certainly did, however a huge financial price to pay just for that because you got nothing else from him barring the derby games...my point is Justiniho does not have the midas touch with every player he coaches.

If we could go back, I wouldn't change a thing. We might not be in SL with a licence now if we hadn't signed him. No one else anywhere near as good was available at the time, so money well spent if you ask me.

It would be unusual if they all made it. Having potential and fulfilling it are different. They might of course, but why discard players that are at least good squad players, until you know?

The problem for Hall is that you have a surfeit of decent centres and they are mostly club-trained (does Whiting qualify?).

Hull are clearly widening their net - as 3 of those 5 are not from KuH. But why be so keen to give away the fruits of your last years of local monopoly?

We do have a pretty decent record of converting good backs to SL backs. It's forwards that we struggle with.

We aren'y only just widening our nets now either, we've always done really well out of both the Hull area and the west yorks area for talent.

Have to agree with reddan BB, he was probably THE difference between us surviving and going down that season. If we had been relegated it's probably unlikely that we would have immediately bounced back the next season + also got a licence in 2008.

No regrets for me either.
