Apparently been offered a new deal. I cant see him signing tbh. Would be a blow if he leaves. What does everybody else think?

this is where booing by some 'fans' can really cause us problems. Swain has been awesome for us...one of the best overseas signings in years....but would you sign for a club where the fans boo you....even though YOUR busting a gut for the team (which Swain is)....would you hell

Sorry to say it, id be amazed if he stayed...and maybe certain elements of our fans should be re-considering the way they treat our players.

why when they are so correct in their opinion, so funny in their opinion ,and so knowledgable in their opinion.

Luke Swain SHOULD be classed in the same mould as John Cartwright or Andrew Dunneman, one of the best Aussie signings of recent years, in my opinion way too good for us, will be gone next year without a doubt and one of the reasons will be the boo boys.

Glad to see the club acting early to try and tie Luke to the club for next season.

Was a bit uncomfortable with the news about the players gathering around him to apologise because he'd played so well ..... until I realised he'd put in almost 60 tackles against Wakey?!

Would love to keep him at the Willows for as long as possible - maybe it's time for us fans to show him that?

 Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book

Was talking to Luke after the game last week and the subject of the booing came up. He said that the players really hate it and that they know they are not getting the results we want. He also said that the booing actually does more harm than good because even if you have played well and tried your hardest you still tink the boos are aimed at you personally and that it is very demoralising and that it is then harder to pick your self back up and go back out there and try again.

How much longer do people think Luke will go out on the pitch and make 60 tackles if he is still going to hear people booing. My opinion is he wont.

He also said it is far better to hear the supporters singing and chanting even when we are getting beat as this motivates them more. He had heard about the support from the shed and how loud and intimidating it was for opposing teams but that up to now he hasnt seen much evidence of that.

We told him that it is not the majority of die hard fans who boo just a small element we have in the shed. So come on you die hards lets drown out these boo boys and give the players some backing today. If nothing else it will sound good on Sky and who knows it may just help the team in what is not going to be an easy game today.
