Was seriously thinking of missing this one with Utd playing Bolton on ESPN. However, I'll continue to live in hope that we really aren't as bad as our performances this season have suggested and will be stood in The Shed as usual.
No doubt I'll be proved wrong yet again and will wish I'd stayed in to watch the footy instead.

Does anyone know why sky insist on showing us live at the same time as Man United? Am I missing something?
This game will only attract the hardcore supporter and not one potential fan in any pub in the whole of Greater Manchester will be watching the game and potentially build up an interest in the sport. Would the Crusaders play at the same time as Wales RU were involved in a live 6 nations game? I think not........... Sky need to put more more thought into their scheduling of our club and I hope the club are putting their opinions across.

Cue pages and pages of comment on Virtual Terrace that Salford should not be in SuperLeague ....
Sad preacher nailed upon the coloured door of time;
Insane teacher be there reminded of the rhyme.
There'll be no mutant enemy we shall certify;
Political ends, as sad remains, will die.

Good john wilky last looked out
on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll
when poor swinton scored a try
