Djimi Traore is a champions league winner.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

Simple answer for this one - No, Welham is not good enough for a Top 4 team (whoever it may be)

Id take Hall over him every day of the week, hes the biggest liability in Red and White IMO. (along with Websters "injuries" 8) )

People say Hall hasnt lived up to his hype - but with Justin coaching i could see him coming on big time.

Mild Rover wrote:Hall certainly has more natural talent, but Welham has stretched what he does have further. If Hall fulfills his potential he'll be better, but he is struggling to do that at the moment, for whatever reason.

Rightly or wrongly, I think Welham is rated more highly by the RL community in general, whereas Hall is seen as a bit flaky. Last year wasn't a great year for Hall and he is playing out of position again now. I'd be happy enough to see him at Rovers, though - if Webster does leave, he'd be one of the first I'd look at.

Welham has simply had more opportunity to play and settle in his favoured position. That's down to a variety of reasons, not least of which being the vast difference in fortunes of the two sides over the last few seasons. Hall has had to play all over the park to cover injuries and this set back his development.

And I covered that point in the second part of my reply. Agar has made a choice between two players who have shown good form in the same position. I don't agree with that choice but there are plenty who do. Are they all scapegoating Hall as well?

I get frustrated mate that Hall is the only player we seem to drop in the last 2 seasons under Agar. We were woeful last year and a player couldn't get dropped for anything, other than Hall.

I do see your point about a choice between Whiting and Hall, but i've not seen Hall do anything wrong over Whiting as a centre and he offers far more in attack.

Anyway, should maybe save that for the FC board. :D

Yes, which clearly shows he was good enough to be in a champions league winning side.

To be fair, I agree that Hall is the more naturally talented of the two, but he's shown nowhere near the consistency as a super league centre that Welham has. I'd certainly not call Kris a liability - his jumping out the line is, rightly or wrongly, an instruction JM has given him. This year he hasn't been at his best (although he is improving), but he was well worth his place in the side week-in-week-out last year.

Had Kris being constantly shuffled around positionally i doubt you'd be saying that. Welham had his qualities but imo Hall is potentially top class. He has pace to burn, great hands and is a natural try scorer. Neither player defends that well but centre is a difficult position to defend in and i don't think there are any centres in the world who defend the position perfectly.

If i were JM i'd be busting a gut to get Craig at Rovers next season.

Motto of the week -

It is the way of the weak to secretly bleat to those in authority rather than fight their own battles.

Depends on who. Can't think of many young players we would want from Rovers? Watts? Welham?

I'd take Watts + Taylor for Washy.
