Top player for sure. But there are other aspects to consider I reckon. Time at the club, character, improvement over their career with us, trophies etc... For all we know, Dan Holdsworth may currently be playing well within himself.

AD (or CE) 2000 was the last year of both the 1990's and also the Twentieth Century.

There was never an AD (or CE) 0 so the very first AD/CE Century was AD/CE 1 to AD/CE 100, the second AD/CE 101 to 200, etc.

We know, year zero doesn't exist. It didn't stop everyone celebrating the new millennium a year early though did it?

As far as popular culture/media is concerned when the third digit is on the cusp of change, we move into a new decade. Wrong but we still do it. Check out the amount of 'noughties' retrospectives that were in magazines and newspapers last December.

I made this point over Christmas and was called an anal c*nt. Then I said: how can you possibly have an anal c*nt? Woosh.

We both are ... the biggest paper in the area in which I live is the Mail. Only the Sun gets a bit close.

The area has no British butcher but 4 halal butcherws, one church but 4 mosques and one madreassa that can become a mosque, only 3 pubs but 10+ take-aways etc. etc.

Salut bro - let's be right and stuff being popular.

 Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book
