Swings and roundabouts for me. Welham isn't one of the two best centres in SL, I know that - but he did come on a bundle last year. His defence has looked suspect in the games I've seen this year, but sometimes what we see as fans is different to what coaches (who are the experts after all) see and it was Cook who then missed games rather than Welham.

Hall is more spectacular, but also more erratic - the sort of player who, the orthodoxy has it, Morgan distrusts.

For me it all depends on who leaves. Are Galea and Webster competing for one quota spot? If Webster stays, signing Hall makes little sense, IMO.

Hall is a long way superior to welham IMO.

And he was only put on the wing because he's quicker than whiting.

If welham played the game for another 20 years he'd never be as good a centre as Hall is now. Not in the same class

Hall certainly has more natural talent, but Welham has stretched what he does have further. If Hall fulfills his potential he'll be better, but he is struggling to do that at the moment, for whatever reason.

Rightly or wrongly, I think Welham is rated more highly by the RL community in general, whereas Hall is seen as a bit flaky. Last year wasn't a great year for Hall and he is playing out of position again now. I'd be happy enough to see him at Rovers, though - if Webster does leave, he'd be one of the first I'd look at.

Welham is simply not good enough, he has no attribute of note.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

I think they're about the same. Both being bigged up as future internationals 2 years ago, and neither anywhere near that good IMO.

Not at all...think you will find the RL community enjoy targeting Welham as much as possible..hence his massive missed tackle count..

Not good enough for what? A club finishing in the top 4 of super league?
