well we will just have to wait and see this weekend. i think we will have to play smart rugby to beat them, they are a big unit and will be looking to dominate the ruck, so we have to play smart and keep them turned round and tire them out. hopefully a good win just before the derby might encourage a bit more freedom in the play. and some very carefully placed kicks would not go amiss either, if this means dobbo dropping 5 metres to give himself more time then that is what they should do. either way i hope for a cracker of a game and not another nail biter.

why the lol ?
The guys $hite and we rarely get a 50-50 from him, even as video ref.
I bet you one thing, win or lose Thaler will NOT blend in, he will be the centre of attraction by his garbage reffing.

Exactly, Thaler is no better and no worse then the rest. Its just because of the bad press thats happened between Him and Justin that people thing hes the worst ref we could ever get.

Personally i didn't think Thaler did that much wrong in the game where he and Morgan had their spat. Rovers were just destroyed by a better team.

Looking back, you are probably correct, but at the time it was our 1st exposure to Wrestlemania. Obviously its commonplace now.

I'd heard he'd just got his pot off and was having a scan to see if the ligaments had healed,if not he could still be months away. Sounded like he was a few weeks away at best.

If your talking about the Hudds game last season, look at the DVD if you can. Yes Hudds were far superior and deserved the win, but I said at the time and I still remain of the same mind, it was the most one sided reffing display I have seen since I began watching RL in 1962. He allowed them to be offside at just about every play in the first half and then banged us for it twice, he alllowed them to lay on for ages until the defence got back, we tried it and we got penalised after about 2 seconds. I doubt we would have won that day, but when your first receiver gets hit by a prop, your player is either as slow as a Sumo or the prop is Usain Bolt in disguise. Or, the ref is useless at policing the offside.
