If this is serious then Mcrae should be offering the player about if he doesn't like him. At a guess there would be a big line of clubs ready to take him off your hands now and you could get cash and players out of a deal.

This is Poorhouse Lane. And this is Neil, the rovers supporter who leads an exciting double life. For when Neil sponsors RLFANS an amazing transformation occurs. Neil is Cabbageman. Ever alert for the call no injury too small!

I repeat a previous post that Stef is a class player but he needed to be left out of the team, briefly.
The coach was bang on.
McCrae has made loads of mistakes,as we would in his position, but this was not one of them.
Stef was given the 6 shirt .That showed the coach's intent and he retained his place despite several bad performances.
Imports on 12 month contracts are a fact of life, deal with it !!
The alternative is to give them 3 year contracts and if they are no good you are stuck with them.
If Stef is offski because he was rightly dropped then forget a coach, let the players pick the team

EVERTON1 has generally been correct in the past.

And if the above news is correct?

i agree with bonita red on this one. He hasn't been playing that well but by all accounts we seemed to play better with him on the pitch in the second half at wakey, or that could of been down to wakey taking there foot off the gas. Everton1 normally gives correct info as regards team selection in the past but i wonder what mcrae is planning, with J smith being suspended also. Would we be going into the game with a bench full of forwards? We do need more go forward but can alker play a full 80?

Did either Bonita or Jay go to Wakey? If so - and you stand by your statements then you are not wanting to see the same type of RL as I do as I want to see players with ability entertain me. If not - then your comments should be disregarded - as SMc brought him on after 50 mins & then Stef proceeded to create more than Mat & Reg did all afternoon.

With Stef on the field the RL is better but if we want 5 drives and a kick then heh ho let him go. I wont be watching though.

Finally and financially more important - Stef is a contracted player and like Myler a hidden asset. If SMc continues to isolate him the value on Stefs head drops and the Balance Sheet is further weakened.

I missed the Wakefield game but you miss the point.
I am dead chuffed he played well and I am pleased he was selected.
My point is that he was correctly dropped for the Quins game,on performances prior to that game.
You have to give the coach a brief to drop players when he thinks they need to be.

i didn't go to wakey but as i stated, i was informed that we seemed to play a bit better when ratchford came on. That could also have been down the wakey taking there foot off the gas? Were not with the players day in day out, so who knows, he may be injured?

Bonita I have not misunderstood at all what you are saying. `Correctly dropped`? Well that is your opinion and our Mr Mc and very few others. You have your opinion and I have mine and with respect I prefer to follow my own instincts. If he has been dropped - and at this stage its a big if - then I will understand Mr Mcs gameplan a little more. We shall have to wait & see.

We won the game. Therefore, he was correctly dropped. The coach is employed to put out a team that wins the game. He did that.
Whether we agree with it or not is irrelevant.

I see where you're coming from but equally, we recently won a war in Iraq. Was the government right to send us there?
