Madchester music. Iain's your man I reckon. He'll post on here pretty soon no doubt.

I recommend the Ruby lounge for live music a good atmosphere. This saturday Guns 2 Roses will be headlining. I know its not exactly madchester but i'm sure the other bands on the bill will be more madchester style.

Thinks we might need to pay this place a visit sometime soon.

For Indie it is the LAW that you go to Corbiers and the patented greatest jukebox in the world and then i'd suggest a trip either to FAC251 or the ever brilliant FAB cafe.

Always suggest a beer or two in Sinclairs first up as it's the cheapest and best pint in the city centre bar none.

Corbs has always had the best jukebox, although the Egerton is good as well and also has a cracking pint.
The Abercrombie is also worth a go.
Be prepared to pay nearly around £3.80 for a pint in Corbs

5th Ave or Brickhouse if you want Indie mate. Have always enjoyed a few pints in The Garratt before 5th Ave especially when the student totty is out & about

Beer is ridiculously cheap as well.

new_boy wrote:Hi can anyone who uses this messageboard please help.

A group of lads are coming up to Manchester on next weekend and planning on taking in our first rugby league game at Salford City Reds and then heading off out for a mates birthday. Can anyone recommend some pubs or bars worth going to near the willows or for when we venture into manchester ?

Can you drink whilst watching the game like you can when watching 'union' (sorry if that word is not allowed on here !) ?

Any help welcome.

Thanks in advance

Hope you fella's had/are still having a good one. :DRUNK:

Good luck with the hangover!
