Same old same old.....


I think it's time for some honest truths, I'm sick of people making up excuses for the club, we as a team and club are on a downwards spiral. Another shocking performance from Salford, poor defence, no go forward, no direction on the paddock. Last week’s victory was papering over the cracks, scraping past a poor Quins side that was injury hit, today’s performance proves it.

Quarter of the season gone and I'm struggling to see any positives?? Holdsworth glimpses of class?? The pack is like men against boys, Parker is never a prop, Boyle not up to standard, would of rather kept Nash, can't believe we didn't go for Thackeray, he may not be the best, but he's got go forward, makes a difference when coming on from the bench.

The coach, in honest the club has gone backwards under SM, can't understand his tactics; he's all about possession wins games, driving up the middle. I'm sorry bit doesn't cut with me, we signed promising young English talent (which I applaud the club for rather than paying over the hill Aussies) So now he have a bit of pace why doesn't he decide to use it? Utterly clueless. Time for a change Simms and Slug

Match days at the Willows seem soulless, used to have an electric atmosphere at the Willows, and now were struggling to put 4k on, what happened to the marketing? Never see no advertising around Salford letting people know when the next match is, All were let with now is just the hardcore who'll follow the club no matter what, the punters who go on the off chance have no idea when a game is

Before people get on my back, this is not an attack on the club. Just being realistic of that state of the club these days, it hurts; do the club know, what affecte embarrassing defeats and performance have on their fans? It might just be a job to them but it's more to the fans. I regularly read this forum and there’s a lot of blinkered Red fans who will stick up for the club regardless and I appreciate there loyalty but let’s be honest, the club is on a downward spiral. God help us if and when we get the new stadium, just hope we don't end up like our close neighbours Swinton! As for the present I think it Salford and Quins should be demoted from SL and give Widnes and Fax there chance because we've had our and clearly not taken it

3 threads all started today, all the same but started by different people can't we just have one please, maybe the mods could combine them into one maybe titled, bitchfest so all the moaners know where to go and the rest of us can avoid reading their endless diatribes.

Your I'll discipline killed the game not the ref mate. You showed in the second half you can play a bit but admittedly we'd taken our foot off the gas and the game was won. Keep the faith and get behind your boys it's times like these they need your support

People have a right to criticise anything but there are ways to do it. The way some do it on here however is abusive and personal.

That's fair enough, but you do seem to jumping on a lot of critical posts at the moment, regardles of how they're put together.

And using the term 'bitchfest' didn't really help your point, much. Especially when the original poster has put his point across rather well.

Point taken, I've no issue with constructive criticism which the original post was, my point was and remains that at least three and probably four theads could have been put into one.
As for my "jumping on critical posts at the moment" I think that most of the time I responded where the poster, and there are a few, resorted to personal attacks.
