SLUG SLU SLUG SLUG ......ffs!! i go week in week out home and away and leave my missis and 3 kids at home!!im seriously gonna cheer them up in future and take em heaton park for a sunday afternoon stroll in the sun instead of an afternoon out with the boys on the pop watching the poop ive seen since the above mentioned has been in charge!!..christ are some people on here watching another salford team play that ive witnessed week in week out for the last 3 years??????.....im sure half the posters on here have a soft spot for macrae and simms!!!yes there both real top guys and talk brilliantly...the ball stops there though......and about SLUGS weight!!!perhaps if he shed a few pounds he might even be able to run round with the boys on the training pitch as well as going over videos of games showing em the POSITIVES to work on!!!.......why why why why did the guy get a 4 and half year contract is beyond me!!.........i along with others sang my heart and and got behind the boys right from the off to half way through the second half today.......it gets to a point when your own team turn embarresing and lack simple basic knowledge of how to play the game....every week i say to myself"they will get it right, give em another week etc"and trying to make excuses up.......Well ive deffo given up on the SLUG now out out out

The team is not up to super league standard
The coach and the director of rugby are not up to championship standard
if we do not make changes now all we will get is 2 to 6 points for the season.
Next season no good players will want to sign for us.
And by this time super league will not wanted us.

We have to get the two out now!!!!!!!!!!

Save our SALFORD

I am less than happy with our current level of performance, and have severe doubts about whether McRae has the skill/knowledge/motivation to lead us forward as a team/club.

However I have never booed the team, referred to McRae as a slug, commented on McRae's weight or physique or slagged the team off over a performance that I couldn't even be bothered going to watch.

Perhaps if some of the idiots on here were more intellident and/or mature we could conllectively communicate our frustation/dissatisfaction to the club and make something happen. As it is, these idiots are simply giving us all a bad name, making themselves look ever more stupid than they are and yet achieving nothing.

You say you have Never called McRae/Simms, Booed the the team! Neither have I.
So what gives you the right to call people on here?
You dont know me! I dont know you, yet you slag me off for not attending the game. (another post) I make no derogetory remarks about you, you are entitled to your opinions as others are.
As my name says I am 40+ and have followed Salford for 40 years, home & away come rain or shine.
I have taken beatings for this club, I got kicked black and blue, just for applauding an 11 - 10 cup win at Keithley, I have gone out and hired a car when mine was of the road just so I could get up to Barrow to see the game, I have Twice driven home from Devon/Cornwall whilst in the middle of a fortnights Family holiday to watch our team lose in the final of the Lancashire cup, Just so I could say i have seen Salford in a cup final.
I have travelled the length of the country to watch our great club!
Have been a season ticket holder for many many years, Until last year, when I was made redundent.
I have bills and a mortgage like most, and I am sorry but I have to keep a roof over my familys head.
So just because I do not attend all games, does not make me any less a fan of our great club.

Also I think I have earned the right to have my say!!!!!!!

All comments welcome, everybody has a right to an opinion, for heavens sake.
You don't have to have a soft spot for the Coach to think that the personal insults demean this message board.
Some of the contributors need to look in the mirror !

I have no opinion anymore, I did not go yesterday I will not be there on Saturday, my ticket will stay in the drawer, until Laurel and Hardy have dissappeared on the trail of the lonesome pine.

Having bought a season ticket, staying away doesn't really achieve much does it? Aren't the season tickets counted in the attendance regardless?

I was pretty dispirited by the final whistle yesterday - the only bright spots were the weather and the excellent steak & chips and Clarke's beer in the wonderful Kings Arms
