I'd take Briscoe without a doubt, those who say Blaymire is a better player are wrong, they are different kinds of players but I'd say on Briscoe is better. In all honesty though it'll never happen, don't know who made it up, probably just someone with a bit of wishfull thinking! good win last night, well done, no doubt leeds were garbage according to their supporters!

Cooke's departure, are Rovers fans happy or sad ??
Bit of both, but mostly relieved.

Hmmmmm. Paul Cooke is like the Curate's egg. When he was on his game, he was sheer class. When his motivation failed him, he was a passenger. There's no doubting his talent but his application let him down. I think he had the potential to be the player of his generation but for reasons we're all aware of, he didn't fulfill his potential. I think after he's retired he might look back at his career and regret not trying harder. On a personal note, the damage he caused when he walked out on Hull is only now starting be put right two years later. I think that shows just how influential he was but came at the cost of of big fish small pond mentality.

Gone because he wants to keep playing rugby league and wasn't going to get that opportunity any more at Rovers, according to tonight's Mail.
Had Morgan told him he'd played his last game for you or did Cooke presume that himself and thus entered talks with Wakey? Hence the assertion by Justine that the move was not instigated by Rovers and the consequential deathly radio silence?

I dont know the answers to your questions, maybe he had to go to accomodate Clinton, with Fisher and Mills not wanting to move on apparently. Maybe he was unsettling the squad, I thought it was going to be a loan deal, but then we hear hes been released and joined them on a short term deal. takes a good sum off the salary cap too. All i know is hes gone and we have to move on now, lets give I'anson a go and see how he gets on,
