You are Lancashires black sheep club who nobody really wants in SL - crap ground - endless attempts to relocate - forever battling relegation - not many fans - plenty of seasons out of the top flight - glory days long gone - forever patronised by Eddie and Stevo no matter how good we get. For the Yorkshire version substitute Wakefield.

That is why I have some empathy with Salford.

I think that sums it up perfectly for me Vastman. Both are clubs who have had to do it the hard way, we've had to fight for what we have achieved. Which makes it all the more galling that both are being bashed with the "stadium" stick at the moment - we have both claimed our places in Super League by right. Hopefully we'll both be playing in new stadiums sometime soon - I would hate to give the RFL the excuse they have looked so long for.....

Just about nailed it there matey!

Over the last few years it's probably fair to say that Wakey are certainly the template for how to have a successful team/club, with all of the above in mind.

On the over hand does this signal that brough will be going to the giants this week? If so il be much happier were playing against Cooke and not brough.

Both Brough and Cooke are in the squad. Cooke I'm sure will play, but Brough  I reckon it will depend where his head is.
If Cooke has his playing head on and Broughy has his on, then they could be a great partnership.

We (SCR) appear to have mastered the art of finding reverse after a decent season far better than any other team though. Has happened twice during the SL era. Other teams strangely seem to progress when the same situation occurs.

On the game, I'm just hoping for improvement on last week, i know we won and I'm expecting the opposite this week but a week on week improvement and I'll come away happy. I think Wakey will be too strong for us up front (even though we may have Cashmere back, we still lack size).

Off the field, yes the Monty's episode the other year was very unsavory and mainly lead by LUFC fans (although there was one Wakey fan who I'd seen bladdered in the ground involved) I've never had a problem there. Seeing how were having a massive love in  how about we put some pressure on the clubs to have a Pre-season charity match in memory of Leon Walker.

We did have something going with Fax over Colin Dixon but that all went the way of the Dodo.

PHILIP LEULUAI played for the Under 20s on Saturday against Wakefield Trinity Wildcats so I think it's fair to say he will not fiqure on Sunday.
