Hillbilly Red and myself will be installed in said establishment for some time before the match - we may even tear ourselves away and make it to the ground ;)

That is indeed an excellent pub!

Well, I think it's appropriate to animate the topic in emoticon form... Here goes.

 :GROUPHUG: :HIGHFIVE:

And I hereby propose that Wakefield and Salford fans shall be regarded as ebony and ivory!

Am afraid if you are installed in that establishment for some time, you may find it will take you more than 30 minutes to crawl  to the ground

Never had any mither at any rugby ground however made the mistake of going to Wakey wearing an MCFC shirt about 20 years ago and some bloke in a LUFC shirt spent most of the game giving me evils instead of watching the game.

Looking forward to this game, looks like Cooke is set to be unveiled as a wakey player today so could be making his debut Sunday. On the over hand does this signal that brough will be going to the giants this week? If so il be much happier were playing against Cooke and not brough.

It'll be hard to tear yourself away from the Kings Arm for the game! Brilliant traditional pub in a lovely area

As we are having a love in don't you think Salford and Wakey are mirror images of each other. You are Lancashires black sheep club who nobody really wants in SL - crap ground - endless attempts to relocate - forever battling relegation - not many fans - plenty of seasons out of the top flight - glory days long gone - forever patronised by Eddie and Stevo no matter how good we get. For the Yorkshire version substitute Wakefield.

That is why I have some empathy with Salford.
