How can you assume that? He is just doing a comparison of the stands Bertie knows if FC where given the golf stand it would sell out.

"In any kind of weather"....which is why our season passes increase every year irrelevant of our performances and fans travel in numbers....apart from a venue to a club who decides to treat FC fans like mugs and charge them more than they do any other clubs travelling fan for an appauling view..
