Thought we deserved to go out over the 180 minutes. Didn't show anything like the attacking skill we'd need to score. Inter's attacks in the first half were few and far between, but when they attacked they knew what they were doing and caused problems.
Referee was eagle eyed at any pushing at Chelsea's corners, but completely blind to the Inter players dragging Chelsea players down. For Ballack's close effort the lino was flagging for offside for a Chelsea player even though he was nowhere near interfering with play. For Drogba's sending off the Inter player seemed to go into Drogba's back deliberately, the ref and lino didn't see that, but they managed to see Drogba's retaliation and give him a red card for it. I'm not a believer in conspiracy theories, but when the controversial decisions mount up it makes you wonder.
Well done Roman. Sacking Jose was such a great idea, eh? Still, the football Carlo serves is so much better, isn't it? Jose wouldn't have smacked Sunderland 7-2. And it's smacking Sunderland that's really important, isn't it?

I thought it was pretty harsh decision. But tonight, Inter looked really good. Sneijder especially. I don't want them in the next round.

Does that mean Jose has still not lost at Stamford Bridge?
TBH, I thought you should've done more to keep Hiddink instead of pursuing Ancelotti.

One last thing. Joe Cole - **** off. Anywhere you like. It'd be funny if Man Utd or Liverpool signed you, because you're not good enough. I don't believe their interest is anything other than a ploy to try and con us to keep you. If Chelsea fall for that then they're worse than the League 2 defenders who would fall for your worthless stepovers.

TBH the game was set up for Sneijder. Defend with defiance and then try and work something on the break. They had the players to do it and they did it well.

We got done by Barca at SB when the ref sent off the left back in the first 20 minutes.
I think we lost a Carling Cup game on penalties, but Jose was insistant that the 120 minute result of a draw was the one which should be on his record.
That's it though. The same as Carlo has lost in one season. Well done Roman.

I think we wanted him badly. I think Roman was held back as to how much he could pursue the Russian national coach though. And I think Hiddink wouldn't leave Russia mid-campaign.

Hopefully, the defeat tonight will deflate their confidence and f*ck them up for a week or two.
CSKA looked flat and Palop was cringeworthily at fault for the eventual winner. Zokora was the only standout player for Sevilla and now the only Spanish team left in the competition is Barça who play tomorrow night. Viva La Liga!
