From BBC

"Salford half-back Jeremy Smith and Huddersfield forward Andy Raleigh will appear at Rugby Football League disciplinary hearings on Tuesday.

Smith, 28, has been charged with a Grade C offence after using his forearm on Harlequins' Danny Orr"

The same charge that Mr Carvell at Warrington got a one match ban for (also against Harlequins) but then the ban was overturned on appeal, just see how our player goes on.

I think we all know he's getting banned then

The tackle on Danny Orr by Jeremy Smith was in my opinion late/clumsy the Ref did not see it and it was the intervention of the touch-judge that brought this incident to light, of course the RL will view the DVD of the game and with a bit of luck Jeremy with get away with a caution/fine.

I hope Smith does not get banned because I feel he is just starting to hit form for the Reds.

Spoke to Jeremy last night about it and he couldn't really remember what he had done and wanted to have a look at the video to see what actually happened.

Last tackle, Orr had put a poor kick in and Jezza just took him out with his elbow. As photo finish says it was late and stupid and from what I saw off it wouldn't surprise me if a ban was on the way. IMO it looked deserving of one.

If Smith gets banned what you reckon SM will go for? I think a return of Ratchford and matt smith playing the second hooker role will be a good option.

I think if Jeremy Smith gets stood down and I'm hoping ho does'nt.

I think Shaun McRae will have Matty Smith at hooker and move Malcolm Alker into the second row, with Daniel Holdsworth at stand-off and Stefan Ratchford at scrum-half.

J Smith gets a 2 match ban and a £300.00 fine according to sporting life.

How long does the player have to appeal. Not seen incident so can't comment on harshness.
