Monty's is still shut (thank god - worst pub in the world) - will be on in town pub and then a quick taxi to the ground. Might be on in Cats bar at the ground. Check with the clb on 01924 211611 - i'm sure they will let you know

I'm still laughing at Cas!!!

Is it me, or are the Wakey lot a friendly old bunch? Always easy to get along with if the posts they make on here are anything to go by.

Afraid I'll be missing this one as I'm at OT to watch us batter the dippers. Only just gonna make kick-off for that as have a Sunday League match at Hough End in the morning :( .

Not expecting too much at Wakey TBH but I think we're all in agreement that if the attitude and commitment is there that's all we can ask for. Wakey by 12-16 for me.

Far from friendly mate, the worst violence I've even seen was after a wakey away game a couple of years back.

Good john wilky last looked out
on the pitch at salford.
when the snow lay round about
deep and crisp and even
brightly played the lads that night
though the frost was cruelllll
when poor swinton scored a try
we had 94urrrrrrrrrr

I've always enjoyed the trip to Wakey. Fans are always nice enough and they got the best playing surface in SL.

Don't recall. I'll take your word for it in this instance.
