Lose and he's gone.
IMO the only things saving him at the moment is he shows passion for the job and the crowds at Gilbert Brutus are forever blaming and getting on at the referee for poor decisions, when in reality when you look at them, they are correct.

I have no idea what is saving Walters from getting the boot, the players should be a hell of a lot better than they are at the moment and the injuries are hurting us. BUT, I do not understand some of the refs decisions I was at GB on Saturday and saw 2 decisions that baffled me. Both Kane Bentley and Setaimata Sa were pulled back by the ref from scoring certain tries only to give a penalty FOR the Dragons!!!!! Does advantage not count in League???? Then can anyone tell me what is the knock on rule in league as well. I like all rugby and I know what a knock on is in Union but last night the ref gave a knock on when it hit a Dragon player's knee but not when it hit a Tigers knee. What is that about?!?!?!? For me a knock is not when it hits any part of someones leg before any other part of their body. I just don't understand. To come back to the subject, I think the Crusaders will win if nothing changes. Crap players need to be dropped and a crap coach even faster. Apparently, info close to the players is that the coach doesn't give them any game plan to play to, just says that they are the ones playing the match and it is up to them to create their own way of playing Very depressing!

I was also at GB last night Griff and I thought the referee had a good game, if he blows his whistle for a penalty the castleford players stop, thus creating the gap for Sa and Kane, it is a shame that the referee did not let the play develop, but had he not given the penalty and the player get tackled, what would the crowd say then?

what Griff is saying, is that the ref should of let the play go on and if there was no advantage to the Catalans ,then go back to the spot for the penalty . Harsh calls for us nearly every match it seems at home, but when do they stop blaming the ref and realise something is not right.

We discussed this over the weekend mate, I thought the French had a little more rugby smarts than that!

anyway this weekend sees gareth Thomas's first match in front of a home crowd, lots of publicity surrounding the match, its going to be a very tough one to win, especialy running Saints close at the weeked , i feel this team, is not an easy beat team as last year.
cheers Dave

Add to that equation that they are trying to sign State of Origin player Clinton Schefnas;fnwk;sa;fna;fna;n (i dunno how to spell his name) in time for him to play on Friday too

Schifcofske? Summat like that. I suppose needs must, but he's been in the quinziste game for about four years now. Goalkicker though, which is important as Walker looks doubtful for Friday.
