However if you think back to before the season started, Cooke was given the go-ahead to speak to other clubs then, which is why I assumed the club had a mix up in the wages being paid for this season and once they realised they would be over the cap, they needed to offload someone who was on a big wage.

So although you say the club didn't instigate the move to Wakefield, maybe they did indirectly?

So how did you feel when FC where paying Crokers wages he didnt even p;lay a game for you but was on pay whilst waiting for his visa that he never got.
