No, not really.
There has obviously been a lot of bitching about Cech this season, for obvious reasons, but the overwhelming comments I've seen on the Chelsea website have been about having adequate cover and a contest for the position, not him being replaced. There were obviously some people who said Cech should have been dropped in favour of Hilario, but these calls will have pretty much disappeared after the Citeh game.
IMO the criticism of Cech earlier in the season was unwarranted anyway. A lot of flack came our way because around 80%+ of our goals conceded were conceded from set pieces. Our defending at set pieces was, at times, comical and we have given away some howlers, but our goals against record has always been fairly close to the best in the league. The huge % of our goals given away from set pieces was treated as some huge crisis, but IMO it was just an anomaly and the focus could have just as easily been our exceptional record at not giving away goals in open play.
IMO it would just be crazy from Chelsea's position to be seriously looking to replace Cech. I don't believe we are looking to replace him, and I don't actually think even with Cech being off form that he makes much more errors than 'keepers like Reina or Given. It's partly just the fact that Cech's howlers could possibly be title costing whereas Reina or Given can make the same errors and it's just not as costly down in 5th and 6th place.

Erm, you're saying not to underestimate Lyon, but predicting a 3-0 defeat for them?
TBH I don't really know much about the strength of either Real or Lyon and I don't care, I just want Lyon to knock Real out of the CL. It would be so funny for them to spend so much money on top players and then go out of the CL at the first round of the knock out phase.
In another way, I think Real Madrid going out of the CL at this stage would mean the likelihood of Mourinho taking over at Real is much higher. I'd much rather Jose went to Real than go to Liverpool, Citeh or Man United.

So it's not just Man Utd penises that Whelan likes sucking.
His club beat Wigan for the first time in their history and instead of celebrating, he's kissing the butt of Liverpool fans.
I think Whelan has achieved remarkable things for Wigan FC. There's no way Wigan would be a PL team if it wasn't for Whelan. But if there's anyone who needs his tongue cutting out to save him from himself, it's Dave Whelan. He's up there with Benitez and Wenger in my hate list.

Aquilani has barely played as well. And I don't even think he's done very much for you to have faith in him, but you're claiming him as part of the most talented spine in the league???
I wasn't the one who posted the thing about our spine being better than anyone elses. FWIW I would say Chelseas spine has been far better than Liverpools this season in every position other than goalkeeper but that is proven in the league positions. If we are fit and firing I'd take Torres and Gerrard over Drogba and Lampard any day.
Lord God Jose Mourinho wrote:But Cech has consistently let in less than Reina, even when Liverpool actually had a title challenge rather than a challenge for 4th place.
It's a small part of what makes a goalkeeper good though. If Chelsea won the league but conceded 50 goals and Birmingham finish 10th and concede 49 goals does that make all Brimingham defenders better than their Chelsea counterparts? Ridgewell better than Ashley Cole? Roger Johnson better than Terry? Does it hell. Reina has overtaken Cech as the number one keeper in the Premier League regardless of how many goals have been conceded by each team. Cech is still a fine keeper and if Hunt hadn't done him, I'd say he would have progressed to being the best keeper in the world bynow.
Lord God Jose Mourinho wrote:I've seen the photo of him with two fingers up in front of the ref, but from that picture it looks to me like he's just indicating 2 rather than giving him the v's.
What happened?
The ref surely can't say he didn't see it. He was stood 6 feet in front of him and looking straight at him.
He slid in from behind on McCarthy but cleanly won the ball. The assistant ref flagged it up as a free kick and Gerrard gave him a spray. Marriner ran over and as Gerrard turned round he flashed him the yellow. Gerrard threw his hand up and it did look like he was giving him the v's. It wasn't a blatant "I'm giving you the bird" but you can't deny he looks like he was giving him 2 fingers.
