I'd take a fit Long over Cooke, it just appears that Long has really started to feel the knocks over the last couple of years. If you get 20 games out of him, plus his influence with your youngsters he'll have been more than worth it.
I've got images of him reading Mike Burnett and Dennis Tuffour bed-time stories from his autobiography now. Cue hovis music...

That and bookies are complicated places, what with all this new fangled spread betting malarkey.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Presuming he does go do you think rovers will try and replace him or just save themselves 90 grand or so this season?
Do you have any quota places left?
I don't think we have any quota places left but who knows on that one?
I'd like to think we are going to replace him, it would be stupid to let him go and strengthen a rival for the top 8 without some plan in place to replace him within the squad
HULL KINGSTON ROVERS is my religion, Craven Park is my church and Jordan Abdull is my God

Might be a financial decision. 90 grand off your wage bill is 90 grand less someone has to find to fund your losses
