There is no denying Cooke has talent but he doesn't fit in at Rovers. Off the field he caused problems which everyone is aware of and it's no secret Justin has wanted rid for a very long time.
As i said on another thread, the bloke has left both Hull clubs under somewhat of a cloud and is running out of time to leave a positive mark on the game.
His time at Hull KR will be seen as positive in the fact we've improved on the field every season he has been here

I would be absoloutley amazed if Paul Cooke goes anywhere before the end of his contract and would be surprised if (injury and form apart) he not only doesn't play against Wakey but plays a major part in Rovers this season.
It's strange the way it has no worked out with Cooke and Rovers, I thought after his first season he would really blossom. Never hit the heights he did at Hull FC but he helped keep them in SL I guess.

He won the cup with Hull and reached a GF. He helped us survive in SL in the final season of promotion and relegation, to emerge from Hull's shadow and then reach the play-offs. There is plenty on the debit side too, of course and his move between the clubs will remain controversial, but rugby-wise he's made a bigger mark than most, at both clubs. I've enjoyed him being at Rovers - it has been, erm - interesting. Fabulous player on his day. Good luck to him for the future - hope we doesn't play for Wakefield on Friday, but.

Hmmm indeed, is anyone on here really in a big state of shock (apart from Bertie) that this has happened?
