Possibly. The Club certainly doesn't have pots of money. We have however been assured that the business plan is sound and that a squad capable of competing in Championship One would be assembled.

The supporters who follow the Club week-in week-out are realistic. I think the majority felt that it would be a season of consolidation and if we won some of our home games and didn't finish in the bottom 2 or 3 in the division and got through the season with the squad in tact that would be considered a success and something to build on next season.

We have been unlucky with one or two key players picking up injuries. That said, we were soundly beaten at Rochdale and humiliated at home to Siddal. I think it is fair to say that the manner of the latter defeat certainly does cast a very large shadow over Tony and how he is perceived by the supporters.
