Galea was the MOTM by some distance IMO, he gave us a different dimension to our play.

Had Lovegrove and Fozzard had some kind of disagreement at Rovers cause it looked to me as if they were both looking for each other? Lovgrove certainly came out on top in the battle!

Lovegrove is getting better and better and now looks every inch a fully fledged member of the prop forward union. Along with Clintons arrival, Vella return to form and young Watts' emergence, the front row all of a sudden looks a powerbase for Rovers.

Funny how things turn out, isn't it?

Lovegrove has been getting better for the last 12-18 months. I've always been impressed when i've seen him, mainly due to his size.
Vella hasn't looked fit for a while and has been carrying the pack in the absence of Galea and Clinton imo but with Watts stepping up too it looks half decent. Still, wouldn't get carried away by getting a last gasp winning try vs a seriously depleted Saints side.

Very early days, yes it's not looking any where near the problem area it did at the end of last season but it's a long way away from what I'd describe as a powerbase.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
