I feel sorry for Leaf and Lawton and also Liam Brown playing in this poor team.
If they had a choice surely they would be off.

War does not determine who is right - only who is left.

Thank God I'm an atheist.

I think that this is the worst display I have ever seen by a Doncaster side and have been watching them since 1951.There was no leadership on the the field and the majority of the team lacked in ideas nobody seemed to care what happened.Today was the final nail in the coffin for me as I have decided that my money is better in my pocket than wasting it watching displays like that.
I feel sorry for the supporters trust committee who are working hard to maintain a team in Doncaster but feel it could be to no avail unless things change.
Numerous people walked out well before the end to mutter never again I have had enough.
Congratulations to Siddal for their win and playing some attacking rugby

Harry your thoughts were mirrored in our car on the way home. I wonder if we get any posts from the deniers.

What can you say after that match but the better team won!, when i was going with my dad home we could not say oh the ref cheated us etc , i said to him plain and simple we were beaten by the better team. I think tony has to look at himself in the mirror and say i'm i a coach who can lift the players after this! I think NO, totally out played and embarassed today!!!!!

BLUE & GOLD shirt
ave it!!!!

its got to be the manager/Miller,you would not get away with it in football
i have been to one game, you could see this coming and as it stands wont get any better thats it for me

I went, I saw, I came away utterly despondent.

Now I'm an optimistic type of bloke and can normally find
a silver lining in the darkest of clouds but today was ......
....well.....I'm lost for words. Where do we go from here ?

Take nothing away from Siddal. They deserved that win. They
did everything right. They looked after there no7 and once he
got the space he ran the show. They still made mistakes but
they made a lot less than us. They played with passion, they
played with heart, they played with pride in themselves and pride
in their shirt, they played for each other.

They were a lot better than us.

If the rumours are true and the coach has gone, then the fella who
replaces him has got a hell of a job in front of him.

Our squad, morale wise, is on the bones of its ar$e at the moment.
When we played Sheffield and Hull KR in the friendlies we showed that
we could play a bit but since then its been downhill very quickly. The lads
have not lost their talent or forgot how to play overnight. it must be down
to coaching.

I admit I was one of the 'give Miller a chance' brigade but I have changed my
mind. We need someone new with NO connection with the clubs past. Someone
brand new with no baggage.

Lets hope something gets sorted before its too late. :(

Bloody Nora, I've had to come on here to make sure the result is correct. What has happend to you lot in such a short space of time? Where has the passion gone from the club? I hope it can be turned around for you all.

DANNY LOCKWOOD - LEAGUE WEEKLY (18-5-09)

I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.

The poor old faithful cannot really give you an answer.

3 hours later & still can't believe I've witnessed such garbage. 30+ years of supporting so I've seen some grim performances but today marks new depths. I'm sure no Donny fan expected an easy ride today but we were totally played off the park.

Well played Siddal, their number 7 looked more than capable of cutting it at Championship 1 level at least - why can't we pick up these kind of gems? Having said that, who would want to join our set up at present? Same could be said with the coach. Didn't I remember reading that things would be different when TM had a full pre-season with his own players? Injuries haven't helped but I'm struggling to see any light at the end of a very dark tunnel. One-man rugby is outdated and will never work.

I gave up with away matches a while ago so I've yet to see Donny score a competitive point this season.

I'm starting to think that the RFL must be regretting their decision to let Donny continue this season. Perhaps it would have been better to have let the club die a natural death instead of serving up such tripe.
