mr wilky the time is now right to get rid of mcrea and simms ,i have followed salford since the early seventies, and this must go down as the worst coach in our history,we have some good players ,but they can only do what the coach asks , you mcrea are stealing a living of our great club , at least dick turpin wore a mask, you should be ashamed ,the local pubs are alll full of passionate fans who really care about our club ,if you had one ounce of the passion they have we would be top of the league by now ,everytime i go into the waggon or the astley brook , i meet these same fans and to a man they all say that you mcrea have no idea your clueles all you ever say is we can take positives out of the game but facts are facts , played five lost five ,do us all a favour mr wilky and get rid otherwise my season ticket will bestaying in the cupboard were it belongs untill things get better example A NEW COACH with some new ideas ,its really getting impossible to

keep the faith

Is he that good of a coach though? didn't do much at wigan and he would of had a bigger budget for players.

tbh mate can you see us being able to afford kear plus i dont think he'd want to come. He's building something at wakey and will want to continue his good work on! And as for harrison, i feel that would be a backward step. I think we would be good giving some young up and coming coach a go, someone who can inspire a team. If a new coach does come in, i think alker needs to be taken off the coaching staff, i just think it's been a bad idea.

Kear just brings the best out of the players', he's not a miracle worker.

What about Paul Cullen? His teams always play with passion and that is something we're sadly lacking at the moment. Or Steve McCormack maybe?

I think the answer is closer to home.

Give Alan Hunte the job till the end of the season under the proviso that we play a better more open and attackign style of rugby league, he has 3/4 of a season to make a name for himself if he fails he goes back to his role as coach to the Academy. I have also always advocated that we need to bring back Greg as the backs coach, he is doing nothing and can you imagine what Ratchford et al could learn from a master of his trade like Greg.

An outside bet again only until the end of the season would be Hanley for me, TBH a coach taken from the local amature game would instill more pride and passion for the club and shirt that SM currently does.
